We believe that choice is important and funerals should be individual. We will advise you on all of the choices available to you for the type of service you would like. For example the type of coffin selected can reflect the persons life style, we can offer a bespoke service and will consider any design ideas you may have, these are printed onto the coffin of your choice. You may wish to choose a locally made Wicker Coffin, or a traditional Oak coffin, the choice is always totally yours, not ours. We will of course advise on the suitability for burial or cremation. Transportation to and from the funeral is important too. We have a fleet of Mercedes vehicles, giving a modern look with all the necessary safety and comfort features. Our family cars are fully air conditioned have privacy glass and all the seats have seat belts. We can of course offer a traditional fleet and supply different vehicles should you desire. We also offer a Horsedrawn hearse service, a service our founders would have used back in 1880. We can supply a lovely original Victorian carriage built in 1893, which has been completely restored, this is usually pulled by two “Friesian Stallions” or other wise known as “Belgian Blacks”. This is a truly traditional way for a funeral procession to arrive at the local church / Crematorium. We always provide a written estimate for any arrangements that have been made, and will fully explain our payment terms, advising you of any Bereavement payments you may be entitled too.
